An extension of the Men’s Ministry
Mission Statement: To engage, encourage, and equip boys and young men today to be the godly men of tomorrow who are fully able to serve, lead and disciple in family, church, and community.
Courageous is Godly men committed to discipling and raising up a generation of godly young men to serve and lead in their families, churches, and communities. The target group is males ages 10 – 21.
Courageous is:
- committing to fulfill the great commission of our Lord to make disciples,
- organizing men to use their gifts, talents, and experience to serve, lead, and model the life of a godly man for boys and young men,
- undergirding boys and young men with consistent and fervent prayer,
- relating to boys and young men with a sense of empathy to the challenges of becoming a man,
- allowing boys and young men to grow in Christ-likeness by serving God and the church under the leadership of Godly men.
- guiding boys and young men to develop a biblical worldview by studying, memorizing, teaching, and applying the truth of the God’s Word in their lives,
- engaging boys and young men through fun and relevant Bible-based activities, events and outings that promote mental, physical, spiritual, and social development.
